Renee Zarate's Bolton House is still in New England but Renee herself has moved on to South Carolina. The days are a little different now, no garden to take care of means more studio time. Dealing with snow and blizzards will be a thing of the past but there will be new challenges. Challenges like...how will we ever carry these two chairs and this huge umbrella down to the beach? Color Challenge: Aubergine
On the Imagine blog today I'm sharing an Aubergine (eggplant) colored tag. This is a mixed media piece that includes gesso, stenciling, rubber stamping, heat embossing and a little washi tape.

I was over to have a look Renee and you tag is just beautiful and very neat! I love any and all doll,paperdoll- so this is right up my ally! Wherever did you find the cardboard cut outs? These are sweet! As for the overall piece, you never cease to amaze me with your skills of combing different elements to come up with such a winning piece! Hi Jackie, the cut out doll is an old stencil (the masking portion) made by Magenta.
