Renee Zarate's Bolton House is still in New England but Renee herself has moved on to South Carolina. The days are a little different now, no garden to take care of means more studio time. Dealing with snow and blizzards will be a thing of the past but there will be new challenges. Challenges like...how will we ever carry these two chairs and this huge umbrella down to the beach? Stay tuned.

Drawing Faces in my notebook today
I'm drawing faces in my notebook again. Here is my face for the day, done without a stencil! I've colored it in with Pan Pastels.
Sorry I've been MIA lately. The weather has been great, nice and sunny. Hope to post more projects soon.

You have definitely been missed, Renee, but, since I am enjoying the same weather as you, I can totally understand! Although I love your stenciled faces, I have to say that this one is exceptionally beautiful--without a stencil. Your perseverance has paid off! Well done!
