Sympathy Card

A dear friend of mine recently lost her uncle and I wanted to make a really special card for her.  What better use for one of the butterflies that I made using the Tim Holtz mosaic method.  I wanted something simple but elegant and I think this filled the bill perfectly.
I love that glitter paper, it is cut with an EK punch to look like a torn page.  The stamp is an old one, made by Rubber Soul and stamped with Black StazOn ink.  I used glue dots to attach the butterfly.

  1. These cards are always so hard to create ... at least for me ... but you've nailed it! Elegant, simple, sincere ... your friend will love it.

And that's one great translation of Tim's Mosaic technique ... simply gorgeous!
