Warm Winter Thoughts card

The challenge for the Imagine AIRs design team was "snow".  We moved to South Carolina from Massachusetts to avoid snow so the only kind I like to see is on a card.  This snowman stamp reminds me of the three boys that used to live across the street from us in Bolton.  The snowmen would be in their front yard from the moment they could make one and we'd see them most of the winter.  The boys usually had a sign posted that said "North Pole".  Sometimes it was so cold I believed it!

This snowman stamp is from Stampotique and it is entitled Global Warming.  The supply list should be listed on the Imagine site here.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful week.  I'm also posting this on the December Craft Stamp Take It Make It Challenge site.

Hugs ~ Renee

  1. LOL...that’s definitely some warm wishes! Poor guy. Too funny and I love it! We are having our first real snow in my area of Wisconsin today covering the ground. But not deep!

  4. I love snow people-your card invites the magic of snow memories~ I love the story of the three boys, next door-so, cute! Another Carolina gal here, but I do miss the magic of snow this time of year, but not mountains of it-lol. A wonderful card I adore the magic of the heartfelt sentiment you shared~ I went over to the other sight and commented, too!!

  5. You are one of my most favorite artists and, of course, as a former DT Member at Stampotique, I love their images. Combined, this result is always a win-win for me! Our temps in Arizona are in the mid- to high-70's this week and I am NOT missing the snow from New England! Merry Christmas, my friend!
