Renee Zarate's Bolton House is still in New England but Renee herself has moved on to South Carolina. The days are a little different now, no garden to take care of means more studio time. Dealing with snow and blizzards will be a thing of the past but there will be new challenges. Challenges like...how will we ever carry these two chairs and this huge umbrella down to the beach? Stay tuned.

My word for 2015: Possibility
Here is my word for the 2015. POSSIBILITY. I have this piece hanging in my studio to remind me that life is always changing and that is not necessarily a bad thing. It is a mixture of gesso, stencils, stamps and ink, just a few of my favorite things.
I have written on it a quote from one of my favorite writers, Quinn McDonald. The quote her is from her blog, it says: "The place of possibility is right under the wet blanket we toss on the smouldering resentment of our lives. You don't have to fear the place of possibility~it doesn't obligate you. It just has...a fresh possibility."
I know personally I have a lot of changes ahead of me in 2015. I have decided to embrace the possibilities that the future has to offer. New adventures!
Have you decided what your word for 2015 will be? Leave a comment, I'd love to hear what you're thinking. Hugs ~ Renee

Such a great word and it looks perfect on this canvas which I have no doubt will be a constant source of positivity and if you were ever in need of it (which I sincerely doubt), inspiration.

Inspiring art to go along with that inspiring quote, Renee! I am slow in choosing my word this year, but I will do it before the month is out. It is definitely a time of new beginnings! Thank you for always being there to inspire and encourage me!
