The 7th "Buried Treasure" event with Seth Apter~An Annual Event

Every year for the past 6 years now Seth Apter has sponsored an event called "Buried Treasure".  Seth has a list of blogs that participate, each of the participating artists sharing their favorite project that has ever appeared on their art blog.  It is always hard to choose but here is my fave for now.

This was posted on 2/24/2015.  It is called:  Stenciling on Art Journal Pages

Last week I shared with you some art journaling pages that I had just completed.  Several people wanted to see the step by step process of these pages with photos.  If you click on this link it will take you to the IMAGINE Crafts blog where I have shared the photos and process that went into creating these pages.

So if you're interested and have a few minutes I invite you to grab an appropriate beverage and take a look!  Today is my actual physical moving day.  Whew, the studio took days to pack up.  I'm sure my new one will look nice and tidy for a while.  I have set up some posts for the next month.  I'll keep you all posted.
Thanks for stopping by, as always I truly appreciate your visit.  Hugs, Renee xx

  1. I use Staz-on exclusively as my solvent ink, but I've never heard of their glazes. This turned out great, and I like the tutorial you shared, too. Those glazes add a lot of color in just the right places. Thanks for bringing this back, because it's been awhile since I've been to your blog.

  2. You created such character on her face, bringing depth and soul. Beautiful and skilful use of colours, as always.
Renee, wishing you all the very best for your move.

  3. Super step by step on your art journal page Renee. Really love your page. I have not used the glazes either so this was very interesting. I just watched the video on them too - thanks bunches. j.

  4. Appreciated the process on the link. Good examples of using everyday things as tools.

  5. Enjoyed going through your process. Haven't tried Staz-on...but will now.

  6. I love this~ All the Best on your move! The heat is waiting for you, the sand and surf~ I, too am curious about glaze~ Thank you, I will check it out~
Be safe traveling and best wishes~

  7. Wow - amazing pages! Loving all the details!

  8. Thank you Renee for reposting this one- I love going over your tutorials! xoxo
